The second generation Coldfront Jacket is built for hunters and guides who need durable shelter from bitter cold and brutal storms. It is ideal for extended late-season northern hunts requiring long sits atop horse, machine and mother earth. The highly breathable three-layer GORE-TEX® Softshell supplies 100% waterproof and windproof protection. Lofted Micro Grid fleece backing traps in body heat while the grid structure draws warm air into cooler areas within the jacket to create a more consistent microclimate.
All zippers are welded and watertight. Elevated hand pockets keep your necessities clear of the pack's hip belt, and keep your hands warm, not wet, as water sheds off your elbows rather than rolling down the sleeve into the pocket. Low zippered hand pockets and a chest pocket cache additional necessities and keep them dry. Rubberized cuffs and an extended, reinforced tail seal out water and wind. And when action heats up, the four-paneled hood can be stowed in a zippered collar pocket to cut down on noise keep your ears keen.
